Hot Glass Torch Blowing Workshop

GLASS BLOWING COURSE: LAMP WORK – for 1 Person or 2 people max per class.

WHERE: 4/39 Gaden Rd, Montville.

WHEN: Wednesday to Sunday by Appointment only.

COST: $250 for the first hour & $100 per extra hour after the first hour

( Tutor + 1 or Tutor + 2 sharing the time ) on one torch.

INCLUDED: Tutor – Materials ( glass ) -Tools – Oxygen – Gas and a lot of fun.

Information:

– Introducing and explaining the basics of blowing glass on a torch.

– Showing and explaining the steps in creating glass forms – hands on the glass experience.

– No experience needed.

– Blowing of vessels – miniatures – vases – ball balls – ornaments.

– Sculpture solid glass into figurines- jewellery- earrings- Christmas ornaments- art piece.

– What to wear – cotton long sleeve shirt – jeans or work pants – closed boots or protective footwear & sunglasses.

(working glass is hot and you will be working on a big flame, how exciting!!)

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE YOUR WORK HOME AT THE END OF THE COURSE!

Wolfgang has been blowing glass for 35yrs and is now an International Artist, his work is in many collectors around the World.

Wolfgang has taught many students in Germany and Australia and make you feel at ease at any stage of your Art endeavors.

People are fascinated by Hot Glass being shaped and manipulated.

It is great to get your” hands on” and experience the process.

This includes a private viewing of the award-winning Tina Cooper Art & Glass Gallery.
